Joy of Christmas Book 2 is a 47-page collection of eight Christmas carols for elementary piano students, published by Piano Safari (SKU PSJoy2). It’s written for students in Piano Safari Levels 2 and 3.

This is the book of the carols people sing in church. Where Book 1 leans playful, with a couple of jazzy numbers, Book 2 centers on the familiar sacred and traditional carols: “Joy to the World,” “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” “Angels We Have Heard on High,” and more. That makes it a natural pick for a student asked to play a prelude or offertory at a Christmas service, or for a recital where the audience will hum along. Several arrangements are by Piano Safari co-author Julie Knerr Hague working with jazz pianist Sean Parsons, and the book includes student/teacher duets.
