The Studio Professional sits closest to the original Studio in profile — higher box, medium platform — but swaps in the 3/4 shank, trims the back panels and heel, and uses an elastic drawstring for a sleeker, tighter finish. Who is the Studio Professional best for?
This is a shoe for the advanced student or professional-track dancer with the strength to handle a 3/4 shank and the foot to use the deep V vamp. The cut-down heel and elastic drawstring keep the back of the shoe close so it does not gap on a strong, articulate foot. A newer dancer is usually better served by the full shank of the Studio or Studio II while their strength catches up — and that is a conversation we are happy to have with you in person.

Sizing & Fitting
We do not publish a pointe shoe size chart for the Studio Professional, by design. Pointe sizing does not follow street shoe size, and the right size, width, and shank come down to your foot shape, strength, and level — and with a 3/4 shank, strength matters more, not less. A wrong fit is uncomfortable at best and a real injury risk at worst. The Studio Professional comes in a range of sizes and widths so it can be matched to your foot, and that match only happens in person.

If you are still building that strength, we will steer you toward the full-shank Studio or Studio II first — not to upsell you down, but because the right shoe for where you are now will serve you better than the flashier one. We carry all three so we can put them on your foot and let you feel the difference.
