The CB16 is made from Energetiks’ ProForm Lite™ — a lighter version of their performance fabric that keeps the breathability and moisture-wicking of their heavier ranges with a soft, comfortable hand feel. (Energetiks is gradually moving this style to ProForm EcoLite™, the same lightweight fabric made from recycled plastic bottles.) The light weight matters under a costume: it adds coverage without adding heat or bulk under stage lights, so a dancer stays comfortable through a full performance day.

If her costumes this season vary a lot in neckline, that’s when we’d point you to the CB17 instead. The honest trade-off here is care: it’s hand wash only, so it asks for a little more attention than a machine-washable leotard.
