Bloch Dynamic Tank Leotard – Girls (CL5605)
A well-made girls tank leotard is the kind of basic that quietly earns its keep — worn to nearly every class, washed dozens of times, and still expected to look presentable at the end of the season. The Bloch Dynamic is built for exactly that. Wider tank straps replace the thin camisole strap of a lighter leotard, giving young shoulders a more secure, comfortable base to move in through a full class of jumps and turns.
How does the Dynamic compare to Bloch’s Parem Camisole Leotard?
We carry both, and the real difference comes down to the strap. The Parem uses a thin camisole strap for a more streamlined, minimal look, while the Dynamic’s wider tank strap sits more securely on the shoulder and tends to hold up better for younger or more active dancers who are hard on their leotards. Everything else — the scoop front and back, the fabric, the fit through the body — is built the same way. If your dancer’s studio doesn’t specify a strap style, it usually comes down to preference and how gentle she is on her clothes.
Why does the full front lining matter?
The Dynamic is fully lined through the front, which means no worrying about the leotard becoming see-through when it’s damp with sweat mid-class, and a bit of extra structure that helps the fabric hold its shape wear after wear. Combined with the centre back seam for a closer, more tailored fit, it’s a leotard built to actually perform under real class conditions rather than just look good on a hanger.

Bloch measures leotards by bust, waist, and hip together rather than a single number — if your dancer falls between two bands, we’re happy to help you pick the better fit in person. This chart reflects body measurements, not garment measurements, and is a guide only.
Best For
- Everyday class wear across ballet, jazz, tap, and gymnastics
- Younger or more active dancers who are hard on their leotards
- Studios with a solid-color leotard requirement
- Building a basic leotard wardrobe in multiple colors
A Note from August MuseThis is the sturdier of our two Bloch basics — if the camisole-strap Parem doesn’t hold up to how hard your dancer is on her leotards, the Dynamic’s wider tank strap usually solves it. Fourteen colors means most studio dress codes are covered, and the fade-resistant fabric keeps it looking good well past the first few washes. Come in and we’ll help you match colors to what her studio requires, or compare it side by side with the Parem.
