Inspiration for my art comes from what I see around me. Moving from the lakes of Florida to the mountains of Tennessee has delighted my eyes and my heart. I am looking forward to experiencing all the mountains have to offer.
Currently, I am focusing on collage. I love finding beautiful papers from around the world or creating my own hand painted papers with leftover paints. Putting ripped and cut pieces of paper together into a beautiful picture, alive with texture, gives me great satisfaction. I see it as symbolic of how God can take the experiences of our lives and make something totally unexpected out of them.
