Eurotard Girls Microfiber Adjustable Strap Princess Seam Camisole Leotard

Kids grow; this leotard keeps up. The Eurotard 4464c has genuinely adjustable straps — set them shorter for a secure fit today, let them out through the next growth spurt, or cross them in back for extra hold. Underneath, princess seams shape the bodice the way a well-made garment should, and the fully lined front wicks moisture and keeps her comfortable through the longest rehearsal day.

  • Adjustable straps with metal hardware — fine-tune the fit as she grows
  • Convertible — wear as a classic camisole or cross-back
  • Princess seams — structured, flattering shape that holds its line
  • Full front lining — wicks moisture, controls odor, adds coverage
  • Modest neckline and tapered V back — studio dress-code friendly
  • Soft Tactel® microfiber that keeps its stretch wash after wash

Eurotard Microfiber Adjustable Strap Princess Seam Camisole Leotard | Girls (4464c)

An adjustable camisole leotard answers the question every dance parent asks in the fitting room: “Will this still fit her in March?” With fixed-strap leotards, the honest answer is a shrug — the torso fit depends entirely on where the straps happen to sit. The Eurotard 4464c moves that decision to a small metal slider. Set the straps snug for today, then let them out as she grows taller through the season. One leotard covers the growth spurt that usually costs families a second one.

It’s a properly made garment beyond the hardware, too. Princess seams — the vertical seams that shape a bodice — give the front real structure instead of the flat, boxy look of cheaper camisoles, and the fully lined front panel adds coverage while wicking moisture away from her skin through back-to-back classes.

Why does an adjustable camisole leotard fit longer than a fixed-strap one?

Torso length is the measurement kids outgrow fastest — and it’s exactly the one fixed straps can’t accommodate. When the torso gets long, a fixed-strap leotard pulls at the shoulders and rides up; the only fix is a new size, even though the body of the garment still fits fine. Adjustable straps absorb that change. A half-inch of strap is often the difference between “fits perfectly” and “replace it,” and this leotard has several half-inches in reserve. The metal hooks and sliders are the same hardware you’d find on quality swimwear — small, flat against the body, and they hold their setting through a full class.

What does the cross-back option add?

The straps convert from a classic camisole to a crossed back in about a minute. Crossed straps sit closer to the neck and can’t slip off the shoulder — worth it for dancers who are between sizes, narrow-shouldered, or doing choreography with big port de bras. Some dancers simply prefer the look. Either way, the tapered V back keeps the back line clean and open under either configuration.

Why does the lined front matter?

Two reasons. Practically, the lining is a moisture-wicking layer that pulls sweat off the skin and controls odor — a real difference on competition weekends when the leotard stays on all day. And for parents, the doubled front fabric adds opacity and coverage that single-layer leotards can’t offer, which is why teachers often steer families toward lined styles once dancers hit the older elementary years.

How does it compare to our Energetiks leotards?

An honest comparison, since we carry both. Energetiks leotards — like the Ophelia camisole — are cut from ProForm EcoFlex™, a silkier, more premium fabric, with a more precisely graded size run; when the fit is right, nothing we carry feels nicer on. The Eurotard 4464c counters with adjustability and value: the straps flex across growth spurts the way no fixed-strap leotard can, and the lined front is a feature usually found at higher prices. Our usual advice: Energetiks when you want the best fit and feel today, Eurotard when you want one leotard to last the whole season. Plenty of families run one of each.

Sizing Guide — Eurotard Children’s Apparel

Eurotard sizes children’s apparel by measurement, not age. For a leotard, girth — the loop from the top of the shoulder, down through the legs, and back — is the deciding measurement, with the adjustable straps giving you extra forgiveness at the top of the range. If she’s between sizes, this is one of the few leotards where sizing up works well: the straps take up the slack until she grows into it.

Best For

  • Growing dancers mid-season — the straps buy months of extra fit
  • Studio dress codes calling for a solid camisole leotard
  • Dancers who need straps that won’t slip during big arm movements
  • Long rehearsal and competition days — the lined front earns its keep
  • Families who want one leotard to last the full dance year
A Note from August MuseThis is the leotard we reach for when a parent says “she’s about to hit a growth spurt and I don’t want to buy twice.” The adjustable straps genuinely deliver on that — we’ve watched the same leotard fit a dancer in September and still fit her at recital. The honest trade-off: the microfiber is sturdy and practical rather than buttery-soft, so if feel is the priority, try our Energetiks camisoles next to it and let her fingers decide. Wash it with the hooks fastened and it’ll hold up beautifully.

We stock the 4464c in multiple colors — pick her shade from the options above, or come into the shop in downtown Elizabethton and we’ll fit her properly, straps and all.
